下面是在国外论坛上2个比较有代表性的评价,仅仅针对三叶4行程机器
OS - ASP -Magnum 4 strokes that is .... is so close I really can`t tell any difference and I`ve had them all. Its just peoples preferences. All of these engines are really nice and smooth operating. No they dont have the power of a saito or a ys but thats why they are smoother the cam and cam timing isnt so radical.
Engine discussions are always volatile but I will chime in here too.
Is it worth an extra $50 for OS or Saito, hard question to answer?
I know people are very loyal to the various brands and any "threat" is fended off with passion.
My first 4 stroke was OS 91, fantastic engine absolutely nothing negative to say about it, was ready to fly on the second tank of fuel.
Second 4 stroke was a Magnum 61, it required a gallon of fuel to get it broken in, since then absolutely nothing negative to say about it.
Third 4 stroke was OS 70, fantastic engine absolutely nothing negative to say about it, was ready to fly on the second tank of fuel.
Fourth 4 stroke Magnum 91, it required a gallon of fuel to get it broken in, since then absolutely nothing negative to say about it.
Fifth and sixth 4 strokes Magnum 70 and 91 respectively, these are the design with the tube from the crankcase to the carb, fantastic engines absolutely nothing negative to say about either one, both ready to fly on the second tank of fuel.
To my eye there is absolutely nothing wrong with the fit and finish of the Magnum engines, I do like the looks of the OS valve cover.
A Saito buddy of mine thinks the extra money well spent, he also thinks OS is an acceptable alternative to Saito.
Since I have had very positive experience with Magnum I think they provide better bang for the buck.
Another way to think of it is, every Magnum comes with a free receiver.
